Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen in a unanimous vote. This put a stain on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her match against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by first-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round by KO. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came at UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina, and ground-and - hit her for an TKO win in the second round. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more amazing victory in her subsequent match against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the initial round, and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first match she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd's win was a majority victory, as well as the Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
