Alison Krauss
The beginning of the national fame came for bluegrass fiddler Alison Krauss in 1990 when at age 19 years old, she was able to walk away in her first Grammy Awards with the trophy for Best Bluegrass Album. It was a feat of awe, not just because Krauss was young, however, I've Got That Old Feeling was the third album in her catalog. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It debuted in Champaign Illinois in the year she was 16. at the age of 14, she signed to sign a contract with Rounder Records - one of the most prestigious folk-based labels. Her accomplishments even at such a young age, and as well as her ability to play the guitar, were consistently recognized by her ability to been a loyal supporter of bluegrass, one of the country's oldest and least appreciated musical genres. Krauss, who was once an incredibly talented teenager, has developed into an accomplished musician as well as a producer.
